About Now That’s What I Call Queer:

Now That’s What I Call Queer began in 2022 as a small queer dance party with a big heart inside Twelve Mile Limit in Mid-City, New Orleans. What started as a monthly night of music and movement has grown into a community-driven creative engine, producing everything from live music showcases to collaborative queer arts programming.

At our core, we believe in one thing above all else: We aren’t made for some — we are inclusive to all. Every event we create is built on that promise.

In 2025, we expanded our work even further with Dearly Beloved, the first-ever queer mass wedding experience, blending ceremony, celebration, and an epic dance party into a unique communal ritual. It’s the natural evolution of what we’ve always done: building spaces where queer joy is centered, honored, and shared.

What began as a dance party has become a home for queer creativity, culture, and connection.
